So I received my YEV 104 Monday from fiddlerman.com and I am so loving it! It sounds more like a violin recorded than my acoustic does mic'd.
My instructor wanted me to work on getting away from arm vibrato and work more on the wrist vibrato; I'll tell you what, very very frustrating, but I think I am 95% there. Probably two more weeks and it will be a lot more easier.

Wow, John - how great to have a new toy!
Very enjoyable to listen to you play!
I'm having a hard time with vibrato on my 5-string. I started teaching myself having my fingers a little too close to being 90° across the strings - started running into problems in some areas of the fingerboard, so retraining my fingers to point down more in line with the strings. It's been hard to enjoy playing while I'm focusing on this - especially on the G & C string, except for fast pieces that just don't require any vibrato (I need some fun).
I just wish my vibrato looked as good as yours...
Thank you for sharing your performance!
- Emily
