Hey All,
Hope everyone is doing well. I've been taking a break from fiddle after my band disbanded earlier this year, but I've been trying to stay busy with other creative outlets. I've got some banjo/viola/drum tracks I've been working on ... and lately, I decided I wanted to try and shoot a music video, so this is my first attempt.
Now I must make the caveat that I've shot lots of live performances of both myself and bands, but this is the first time that I actually secured a space (my bedroom) and lights (rented about 1500 dollars worth of lights) and turned a room into a studio space. (I'll ramble more about it if people want to hear how I did it). Anyway it doesn't have any fiddle (though it was hard to resist jumping in), but if you want to see what can happen on a cheap budget and 48 hours, here it is:
Again, if you like the setup, I'm happy to talk about it, but don't want to bore people if not interested.
Happy Fiddling, Mark

Thanks Bob, yeah I think a bass and fiddle would sound really great with them. I didn't grow up with Bluegrass, but that's mostly what I play and listen too these days.

Thanks @Mark from another Mark :). I believe we used a MXL 603S microphone on his mando.

Thanks Pierre! Good to be here. Now that I have less bands, maybe I'll end up doing more videos of fiddly stuff. 😀

Here is the second video. I think of the two this is my favorite.
