Well, here you go guys, a quick video on how to change out your chinrest. I searched the forums, but didn't see anything. This is really simple, and most of you probably already have this figured out, but I wanted to throw this out there just for the people that didn't yet realize how simple it is. Enjoy, and any additional pointers is always helpful!
There is no failure, only results.
The screws on the clamps are called barrel screws. They're like the screws in turnbuckles. One end is threaded right-hand, the other left-handed.
You can use a nail to turn them, but yeah, file down the ends to dull them, or just be careful.
It's also good to try to be aware of how the mounting of the chinrest (especially tightness, location, padding materials) affects the sound.
