Hi All

I can't find a good detailed video on sound post setting.

Any 'leads' on finding one would be appreciated.

Hi Mate @fiddlestix

Pierre's video on sound post setting is good but needs a 'part two' that shows things like how to move the post small amounts without knocking it over again. bunny-headbang

Yes, the how arrived. It's a nice bow. It's a better bow than I am a fiddler :)

I reckon that you will like it.

He does show you towards the end on how to tap the post to move it small amounts at a time.

3:30 min.

I should mention that when you tap it, tap top then bottom. Never too much on one end at a time. Also, tap so that you are tapping a bit upwards towards the f-hole to keep tension. If you tap straight only, it could slip downwards towards the wide part of the violin (the center) and fall. :(
