Hi, i'm new here. My D string fine tuner is not screwing in correctly. For some reason, it just pushes in and when I try to screw it in, it'll just pop out. Please help, ty

It sounds like the screw got stripped somehow. If it's not a built in fine-tuner, they are inexpensive and easy to replace :)

Yes, welcome to the forum yumfest.
If it's not stripped check that the screw is not going on the side of the lever. The lever under the tip of the screw won't travel downwards if the lever bends to the side. It's hard to see since it's under the tailpiece. Another option is to get a new removable fine tuner, that is if this is what you have. I recommend the Wittner over the cheap Chinese ones. They are more dependable.
