Hmmm... I bet MEK would make your work easier. I think MEK works much better than Acetone - used to use it quite a bit (mostly as a thinner and cleaner), but there are health risks, as with all solvents. MUST use a proper respirator, solvent-proof gloves and ventilation system (if indoors).
I'd be careful if using "Citristrip" (very wet/doesn't evaporate), but did you check out Georganne's thread?

Okay, I'm done here - have to figure out how I'm going to get all the Grandkid's gifts wrapped in time for Christmas (plus one has a Christmas Birthday)! (lol)
