It has just occurred to me. Why are they called badges and not pins?

As for them being called "badges" and not "pins". That is what they were called when this forum was started. Hey, think of them as badges of courage. It is hard for a lot of us to put ourselves out there in a video. I think badges is appropriate, myself.

I asked about badges and pins because in Britain there's a belief that the word badge doesn't exist in American English.

Congratulations to JohnG for his DIY temporary fix for a chinrest issue with his viola.
JohnG has been having issues getting a set up that works for him. He has created a temporary fix and is using a unique material. This may inspire others to think outside of the box.
