I need to request that if you find spam, do not reply. If it is an old post, not one started by the spammer, please stop replying to that old topic thread, until after I have removed the spam posting.

The reason is, when someone replies to or starts a topic, the listing on the right side of the forum shows the last person who posted on that topic. When I log in, or look in as a guest, the very first thing I do is check that listing. I look for a member I have not seen here before. I then go to that post to check and make sure it is not spam. Replying makes it that much harder to spot the spammer, not impossible, but harder.

If you reply, I cannot see when an unknown poster posts. Please do not reply to a topic that has been spammed, or a new topic that is spam. In most cases, that spammer is not coming back to see what you have said.

As well as hiding the spammers username from me when replying, you are encouraging the spammer by active participation. Please don't encourage.

I log in many times during the day, and I check in as a guest and I am looking through the post listing on the right, for spam. I am also checking all new members at that time. I may not be logged in, but I am looking in as a guest.
