I know it is tempting and you want to let spammers know they are not wanted, but please do not post any replies to spam posts. You can PM me and provide the spammer's username/display name and area the spam is located, possibly include a link (not required), but, please just ignore the spam and continue the thread without that spam being mentioned in your replies.

A few reasons for this:

1. A spammer disrespects a member's topic thread - why give the spammer the satisfaction?

2. You acknowledge to the spammer you actually read that spam, which is what the spammer wants.

3. Removing a spam post that has replies means the replies to that spam must also be sought out and removed. If the reply to the spam is included with a reply to the actual topic thread, that post will be deleted also.

4. If you think the spam has been buried because the topic thread was busy with topic reply postings, or you just think it won't be seen by admins, just post a reply that says, SPAM - post # (and put the post number there).

For those members who have not reached PM privileges. you can email me with the email address you received your Welcome Letter through, and provide the same information.

We are fortunate with our forum, when it does happen here, it is not up for long and is dealt with. This is due to the diligence and watchful eyes of its members, Thank you very much.

Please ignore any typos. My typing ability on a real typewriter did not transfer to these device key pads.

Or, if they are just "robots", they won't read what you post anyway.

However, I think I've seen one engage in conversation, whether it was here or on my uke forum.
