DJ Okawari is a Japanese Composer that mixes styles, especially hip-hop & jazz.
Bio at last.fm:
I was born in Shizuoka, Japan. As a track maker / DJ.
I bring sampling to the core of every day HIPHOP, in the central organization under the theme of "music and everyday coexistence". "The Music is Any Moments in Life."
I express what I felt while I lived by a sound. I hope that you as a listener have your own sound in your life.
I regard scenes and relevance to feelings as important, and make a sound giving it "an ease "well-defined tightened feeling such wind when I open a book" to fall asleep just before that".
I always grope for a new thing without being always satisfied, and I continue always challenging it,
and my name, "DJ OKAWARI", comes from it.

I am a HUGE fan of Studio Ghibli animated films, especially those created by Hayao Miyazaki - and his main composer was Joe Hisaishi (aka. Mamoru Fujisawa).
Here's one of my favorites, from "My Neighbor Totoro" - "Path of The Wind", by Joe Hisaishi!

Saw this violin performance by Will Pampelmuse of "Summer". It's another piece composed by Joe Hisaishi, but for the Takeshi Kitano film, "Kikujiro". There have quite a few film/music collaborations between these two. This poignant film can be viewed on YT.

For "Attack on Titan", Hiroyuki composed the soundtrack for the 1st THREE seasons, then half of the 4th.
Nicholas Yee and David Jay arranged an amazing Suite of 5 pieces from the series: "Ashes on the Fire" (0:00), "Bauklötze" (3:04), "Vogel im Käfig" (6:14), "Apple Seed" (13:06), "Call of Silence" (15:43).
