Hello everyone, my name is Mike and I am a newcomer to the violin. I have been playing for about a week now, and soon I will post a video for everyone to critique on my progress so far.
I already have background in music as I have been playing several different instruments since the age of 8, and can read all clefs and even compose sometimes. I hope that my experiences with the violin will be enjoyable, as thoroughly so as my other instruments.
I was born in California May 30 1988, and 2 years ago I moved out here to Alabama due to a long story and stressful living situation.
At any rate, I am happy to join a community of musicians, and hope to improve my skills well off enough to play with all of you!

Wlecome to the party, man. I am thrilled to have another noob in the house. I too am a noon. (I only recieved my violin the 18th of June) Sometimes I feel lost and overwhelmed, but I have to admit, the members on here make it fun as well as educational. So, again, welcome and enjoy!!

Just to let ya know, Fiddlerman is doing a YouTube Project on Bile 'Em Cabbage Down. I have been playing 5 days and I am already really interested in participating. It is really cool. If ya haven't watched his last project, He's a Pirate, watch it and see what you have to look forward too.
