Good Day All. I'm not exactly new to violin. I took a couple of years of lessons and then life with kids got too busy. I play still, mostly going through the hymn book or choruses. I'd like to start practicing more faithfully though. Any advice on where to start?

Hi @Sarah and welcome to the Fiddleman Forum. I'm still too new to advise you on where to start, but I'm sure a few of the old timers here will help you. I just want to welcome you to a great forum with helpful folks. Nice to have you here.

SarahB,

Welcome to the forum, I'm guessing from your post you have some reading ability and just trying to improve your technical abilities.

Take a look a the free etudes on this sight in particular Schradieck exercise #1, I was working on  this and recently started back on it it does work good on your technique, here is a video to help solidify what it's trying to develop.
