Hello Everyone,

I am from Texas, but my husband and I moved to Costa Rica in April of 2013. We love it here (weather perfection).

One of the benefits of being here is I have time (between design projects) to pursue some of my hearts desires, photography (never ending subjects of beauty), oil painting AND learning to play the Violin.

I bought an Electric Cecilio based on the review I watched by Fiddlerman. I did not want to spend a lot of money to find out I was not as enamored with the Violin as I may have thought, but just the opposite has happened, I have fallen in love with it. I practice every day, it sits out next to my desk, so that it is always easily grabbed and played.

I have since ordered a Rosalia acoustic violin and have not been able to touch it yet :-( ...but soon. I will be flying to the states at the end of this month for my sons wedding and will pick up my new Rosalia; as well as the Courier Case that I ordered from Fiddlerman. I am very excited!!

Welcome from Alaska.  I would love to see some of your photos of your area.

Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.

Ah the pura vida -- nice. Costa Rica is my favorite place, other than maybe Hawaii, but I like the Ticos better.

Welcome, @Photogirl ! Sounds like you've been bitten by the fiddlebug. We're all victims of that particular pest. :)

Yes, please post some of your photos. They must be beautiful. I'm a shutterbug myself, so I love seeing others' photography work.

Oh, I didn't notice the link above last night. Just took a look. Very nice shots, @Photogirl ! My favorite is the hummingbird (I'm partial to hummingbirds). Do you know what kind it is?

Welcome @Photogirl !  From Sunny California...  Not sure of weather perfection here but it's pretty darn nice.

I've always wanted to visit Costa Rica, I have a friend that moved down there about 3 years ago...

Enjoy...

Welcome photogirl :-)

I'm glad you also found weather perfection. Not to shabby here in Fort Lauderdale either.

Your hobbies correspond nicely with playing the violin. Being creative with art is beneficial to musical creativity and helps with relaxation too I believe.

thumbs-up

I hope you will be happy with your new violin, there is a huge difference between an acoustic violin and electric. We appreciate your business with the Courier Case.

Looking forward to your future posts.
