Hi all,
I'm Putri from Indonesia. Currently I live in Maryland, studying for master degree. I started to play violin when I was in 12th grade, but I was not really focus on it because I had to focus on my college, so I'm still a beginner violin player 
. I left my violin (I named it Sora 
) back home because I was afraid it would cost trouble at the custom. Now I kinda miss Sora so I bought a violin today just before I sign up to this forum. I was thinking for about 3 hour whether should I buy it or not, but finally I bought one after I watched Fiddlerman's youtube account. Thanks to Fiddlerman, I finally feel excited again to learn violin. Hope I can learn many things from this forum and website

Welcome greenrabbit. You sound very artistic and I love your username! The very first band I put together was called Ancient Green and we played mostly original songs but one of the cover songs we did was White Rabbit.

Which violin did you buy?
I bought Cecilio CVN with color and it just came this afternoon. I'm gonna start learn and hopefully I can play on Christmas Day at my church. Gotta practice hard.

Thanks myguitarnow. I love green and my chinese zodiac is rabbit and bam! I used that username.
