Hi, my name is Fabricio Soares, I'm 39 years old and I've been playing violin for 20 years.
I started my musical studies at age 6 on the recorder, at age 13 I started studying cello. In 2001 at age 18 I got a full scholarship to study at Campbellsville University, KY, USA, there I got my bachelor's degree in cello. In 2002 at age 19 I started studying violin. In 2006 after finishing my bachelor's degree in cello I decided to focus exclusively on violin and started my masters degree on violin finishing it in 2008. In 2009 I returned to Brazil where I've being working as a professional violinist, playing in professional orchestras and teaching private lessons.
Welcome to the Fiddlerman Forum, Fabricio!
Very nice of you to join us!
It's always a pleasure to get to know someone who's played the violin for so long!
I'm pretty old, only been playing for 2½ years on my 5-string Violin and a few weeks on my new 5-string Viola!
I see you posted some videos,
so I'll head on over to watch them!
