Nice little tune, this one... and can be kept simple or ornamented as desired...

Thanks @mookje - I post a number of different pieces in score-form that I'm working on - nice to get feedback ! Glad you like it It's quite a simple piece, have fun ! And if you get your hands on MuseScore ( freeware under the GNU / common attribution licence ) you can take the .mscz file in one of the earlier posts and adjust the tempo for play-along. Enjoy !

@Heinrich - indeed it is an "interesting" bow hold - and - it just goes to show that not everything is as it seems or has some prescriptive idealology like "this is the way to hold the bow" - peakfiddler actually has a separate video talking exactly about this, and how his bow-hold came about - in fact, on his YT page where the video is, I left a comment... here it is Heinrich -

extra notes can be good ! ( in the right place of course ! ) - that's what fiddling is all about - you "make it your own" but it is still recognisable as the original tune... cool !
Speed will come with time and practice - it is not an ultimate goal really - technique and control - well in my opinion - come first... Although of course - it's always great to listen to a player doing a fast jig, reel, hornpipe, whatever really cleanly - lovely and great to watch the rapid left-hand fingering.. and you think - like - WOW ! - just HOW did they do that ? LOL
