Try a "Turkey Leg" for Thanksgiving!
...if you have tried any piper tunes on the fiddle, this will be a piece of... Turkey. 🤭

What is a Poisoned Dwarf?
Well, it depends on whom you ask: Musicians say it’s the name of a famous bagpipe tune; Disappointed competitors say it’s what you call an unfriendly judge; Historians enjoy telling the story of the nickname the citizens of Midden, Germany gave the quarrelsome “Scottish Rifles” battalion posted in in their town after World War II; Others say, it’s just a clever term for cranky Scotsman. We like to think it’s a fun term for a rollicking, fast-paced, friendly group of musicians who love to play traditional Celtic music with a twist. (Poisoned Dwarf website)
I give up... "Poisoned Dwarf" is a 'Celtic' band from Williamsburg, Virginia!
They do have a couple fiddlers & some really great tunes!
Here's proof!
"Bus From Fingal : Return from Fingal, Nonesuch, Islay Rant, Evit"!

I should've mentioned that there are great sheet music versions, with audio for the 4 tunes of "The Bus From Fingal" set available at thesession.org. All variations are in minor & dorian modes!
The last tune is actually "Evit Gabriel" - a reel.
"Return From Fingal" is an Irish March, "Nonesuch" - an English Polka, "Islay Rant" - a Scottish Reel, & "Evit Gabriel" is a Canadian Reel by multi-instrumentalist/composer Daniel Thonon.
Poisoned Dwarf imparts some unique phrasing.
