@ABitRusty -

Outstanding tutorial - great find!

THANK YOU!

Did you get a chance to check out any of Kathryn Claire's other videos?

LOVED her "The Forest Flower Set"!

Still really lovin' this version of "Scatter The Mud", played by Charles Monod!

Here's the Sheet Music:

Think this version would sound great played with the OP version - AND maybe paired with "Bear Dance"

🤔... muddy Bear?

For ANYONE who wants to learn to play an Irish Jig - this is a GREAT place to start!

I've been playing a couple versions of this tune, but thought I would share a really in-depth set of tutorials from The Hot Violinist

She has a series of 5 Prep Exercise Tutorials that deal with quite a few basics, including proper bowing rhythm - and the 5th Prep Exercise video teaches a 5-note Roll.  I learned how to do a 5-note roll soon after I started to play the violin - and I learned it FROM HER, using the tutorial she had for "The Gael".  Everyone should learn the Jig Rhythm and have the 5-note Roll in their ornament tool box.

Then, Scatter The Mud is broken down into 10 Mini Tutorials - and you learn more than just notes for a couple bars at a time here.

Lastly, there are 3 Listening/Play-along Videos - 70bpm, 100bpm & 120bpm.
