Good reading on both articles. I bought a little 5 1/2" by 4" notebook so I can create outlines of goals and to track my own progress. Otherwise I catch myself just trying to jump from song to song. Plus I have a palm size Sony digital recorder with build in mics so I'm going to start recording my practice sessions as well to track my progress.
