Thomas was just given Bach's Minuet 2 from the Suzuki book and something I just cannot figure out. There are a couple of slurred thirds in this piece and I have always played them faster than the other, non slurred eighth notes when I was younger, but noticed now that I am looking at the music that these thirds are not written as 16th or any faster than the other 8th notes. Yet, every single youtube performance I see of people playing this piece do the same thing I did, and played these thirds faster than the other 8th notes. What is the correct method. I appreciate it and thank you ahead of time.
