Hello everyone, I have a question that might sound dumb or be obvious but its confusing me. How do you calculate the tempo as it relates to different note lengths? For example, the tempo marking at the start of a piece might show something like Quarter note = 60, or Half note = 60. What is the difference here in actual BPM?
Hopefully i've explained it well enough to get across what i'm asking. Some metronomes don't let you set a specific note length; you can only input a numeric BPM so i'm unsure how to calculate the real bmp in those instances.
Thanks!

Hi @kody - I was going to craft a quick answer - but - I thought to myself - I'll bet there's a site somewhere that has this all wrapped up - my second search brought this up - scroll down on the page until you see the "calculator" - it's got EVERYTHING !
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -
Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)
