It's interesting… but still sounds awfully hard to do. She's good!

Bless her..in that setting with the audience and a master like that and her age..but kuddos for doing it.  Yeah this seems to be a thing taught by many that obviously know what theyre talking about.  Martin Hayes has a patreon channel and he is very big on being able to sing or lilt not only the tunes but the ornaments in irish as well.

She'll never forget THAT lesson!

...my singing resides deep in the crevasses of my mind, where there's plenty of sound-proofing.

Ugh – if I had to sing to play violin, well, I wouldn’t be playing violin smile

But it is a good way to aim toward the sound you want.  We spend so much time focusing on getting our left hand fingers right, then the bow, etc., that we’ll forget to ask ourselves, “Okay, how is it supposed to sound?” or, more importantly, “How do I want this to sound?”

2Set video great, too.  Seems like a good exercise, to try to just take something you know well, & just try to apply the different emotions and see what you end up doing.

Characterize people by their actions and you will never be fooled by their words.
