I did this back in January and I put them straight back on but now I think after playing a year they have to stay off! And they will. I only had a quick go earlier but i’m thinking the Sevcik exercises I do everyday are really going to help and I think sticking with Annie’s Song for now is the way to go.
Anyway, thought I’d share my violin news !

Thanks Fiddlerman! Well I feel like I’m starting from scratch but I also feel like it’s more rewarding when I get notes in tune because it’s obviously harder than playing with my stickers. But I’m actually doing better than I thought. I was thinking how I was getting carried away with learning new things that I’d forgotten my stickers were on! So I think it’s a good time to take them off!! I think having them on at the start allowed time to concentrate on other things like bowing. I can see tgat my fingers have learned round about where to go though which is pretty cool! I’m concentrating on d major scale and Simple Gifts.
