So i printed out music for this piece but towards the middle it is just very confusing. I realize this is an advanced piece and I am sorta still a beginner but I want a challenge and this is my favorite song so if anyone could like post a video or show me the correct fingering it would help.
If you need the sheet music

I don't know this piece at all but it seems crazy to me that it is in the key of G. Except for the first few lines everytime there is an F it's natural. So play the beginging in the key of G then change to the key of C. I'll try to put fingering to it but if you look at fiddlermans fingering chart https://fiddlerman.com/wp-cont....._chart.pdf you could easily transpose which fingers to use.

Most of the naturals are negating the F sharp in the key of G so if you just play in the key of C you can almost forget about all the naturals. You may be confusing sharps with naturals a sharp looks like # and a natural is similar but different. Natural only means to play the note with no sharp or flat If you look at the finger chart for key of C any note that is sharp is played a half step higher and a flat is a half step lower.
On the D string if you play F natural you will use your second finger and an F sharp is the same as a G flat. Hope I'm not totally confusing you.

I thought the same thing Kevin, when I saw all the flats. Wondered if there was an easier key to use with less accidentals!
I am amazed at how old people of my age are.....

Looks like a rock n roll song to me. Sheet music is just a guide for me, sometimes you want to flatten a note and sometimes you want to sharpen a note depending on the feel of the song. To me that's why it's important to listen and play along and not worry about the sheet music so much as to what you hear. If that makes any sense?

Hey, "Little Sister." Glad you took my advice and got on here to ask questions. I told you these guys could help you out. I personally think that between Fiddlerman, Kevin and Terry, (among others) you will alwyas get a good answer. Keep us up to date on your progress. I hope to hear you play, via video or sound clip, soon.
