Burning out from life's stresses.

I wasn't going to attend my weekly jam last night.  I had missed the week before out of absolute weariness.  I was so afraid of how I would react when/if the gentleman who sings If I could hear My Mother Pray Again lead the song.

Well he did sing it about halfway through the jam session, but by then I had lead a couple of songs, played a break in another and so was feeling calm and refreshed!

My songs - Midnight on the Water, Ashokan Farewell, Bill Cheatam - slowed down a bit of course, Clinch Mountain Backstep, Over the Waterfall,  Tombigbee Waltz.  The break was on Soldiers Joy.

One person thanked me for leading songs!!!  YAY!! I am getting closer to having people request tunes they know I play.

Violinist start date -  May 2013

Fiddler start date - May 2014

FIDDLE- Gift from a dear friend. A 1930-40 german copy, of a french copy of a Stradivarius.  BOW - $50 carbon fiber. Strings - Dominants with E Pirastro Gold string.

Music does wonder for the soul, doesn't it? Glad it went so well for you. You deserve something positive!

Let the bow flow.
