Pretty cool site, Barry. Some of the biggest country stars began by playing for tips in, Nashville.

Can't wait to see you performing live.   crossedfingers thumbs-up

Wow @Barry, that's so cool. thumbs-up

Looks like a lot of fun over there, and I'll definitely tune into one of your shows.

ETA: Great timing. I decided to go see what was happening, and there you were On Air.

Good stuff! clap

@Barry,

Re: Being our own worst critics......Yes We Are! I make myself crazy sometimes.....lol!

I'll try to catch both shows on Fri., and looking forward to it. smile

FYI: I'm a Jellybird now too. Couldn't decide on Feathers, or Robin. So it's Feathers for now.

Hope to see you playing also  :)

I'm working towards it. I did signup as an artist.smile

Also got a Lifetime over at Old Time Jam too. Love his backing tracks, plus I need to learn some more songs.

@Barry  I am signed up as an artist.

I have to learn to use back tracks and get a back track set for a show. I need a mic and web cam.

Lots to think about .. I will try it out sooner or later. :)

@Barry .. good to know.

So in thinking of my plan... for a "live show."

What would I, or could I play.  (can I list a few things here?.. sure..why not?)   ha

Pardon my list and hi-jack.....

Godfather.. (I still need to update my version to the corrected version).

Sad Romance (in good shape)

Thaxted....(I should be there someday soon)

Minuet 1, Bach (getting there)

My Swallowtail .. not ready. .. hummmm

Stitches.. (oh yea!!)

Scarborough... (boring?)

Amazing Grace. (ready but boring?)

A Time for Us (Romeo and Juliet).. needs polishing

Would be cool if I could get my Swan Lake in order.

Harry Potter song.. ? Never was able to get those 16th notes.. or was I?

Would I want to add Star Spangle Banner???

My other songs are holiday or special occasion.. Auld Lang, Pomp and Circ.

Okay.. I obviously have a freaking non-matching list of songs under my belt....

There are several songs that I could learn in my skill set such as Cripple Creek and other songs from Essentials One that I haven't learned but I can play.....

I would love to learn some other fiddle tunes.. ya know... They are harder for me as I am unfamiliar with fiddle and folk music.. but dang.. fun.. fun.. fun...

Okay... I indulged in a list in the wrong thread as usual.

Apologies to the royals and members of our royal court.  🙂

Signed up as well, as BillyG ( didn't want the general public to really think I was "mad" LOL).

Oh - by the way - some teccy stuff - I had an issue hearing audio using Chrome - with everything turned WAY up it was still just like a whisper... if anyone else suffers from this - it's a weird "plug-in" inconsistency - if you have the same problem as I had on chrome - try this -

In the address bar - type in "about:plugins" without the quotes -

You'll get a window something like this -

Capture.JPGImage Enlarger

Find the ShockWave Flash player with "pepperflash" or "pepflashplayer" in its name - it will probably have a link saying "Disable" - click on the "Disable" ( it will change to Enable as shown above ) and that should sort it out (after closing the browser and re-starting it).   There are other ways - you can re-arrange the order the plugins are used - but that's just a pain in the asterisk....

Oddly, all other stuff - you tube, sound links on here, soundcloud - all fine - just seemed to be StreetJelly that suffered on Chrome.  ( It was fine on IE, FireFox, Safari, Opera )

Anyways, looking forward to some live performances if my 512K broadband is up to the task...

Bill aka BillyG

@Barry put on a great show tonight! There were a bunch of Fiddlerman members over there watching and cheering Barry on...and chatting here, too. We're multitaskers. :)

When the work's all done and the sun's settin' low,

I pull out my fiddle and I rosin up the bow.
