🤔... it's nice to know I'm not crazy for hearing these tones. (lol)

Emelie Waldken talks about "Blue" notes used in Scandinavian Folk music -  microtones!  ...great, now I want blueberries. 😋

Love her attitude towards these notes!

Why not try a 'Blue' tune?

"Trippar etter Lars Mjåland frå Åseral", a Polka from Norway - tutorial from Emelie, with microtones

like Trippar etter Lars Mjåland frå Åseral"  sounds old timey.

also how she usually points to where a tune approx. originates from is always neat.

edit..

@elcbk. Salomon Högens Godnattlåt is great.  really like the dark sound of it and how her fiddle sounds playing it.  kind of mournful in a way.  the feel of the rhythm seems like it would be tricky though.

@ABitRusty -

I like Salomon Högens Godnattlåt, too.

Afraid I have to pass on Trippar etter Lars Mjåland frå Åseral - fine as an example, but what those high double stops do to my ears... 😖
