I just saw that today is National Pet Day.

I got Suki just over a year ago from a local pet rescue, right before the Covid lock down.

Give your pet an extra treat today (or tomorrow, since today is almost over).

 Bugsy & Madmartigan

These brothers were a local rescue I've had since 7 months old (about 5 years ago).

They think they are Dogs, Monkeys and sometimes Lions, Tigers and Bears... Oh, My! 🥰

Here's Persia trying to be helpful when I was recording a virtual orchestra project. She's not as good a page turner as she thinks she is.

I try to make mewsic appreciation a priority here. She really loves the Purrahms Acatemic Furstival Overture, judging from her reaction here:

@AndrewH -

Laugh Out Loud Smiley Nice photo of Persia, Andrew!

Btw, I forgot to mention how much both of my 2 like to serenade my violin playing - usually when I'm recording! 🎵

...Madmartigan's voice projects amazingly well. 🙄

Do any of you have the pleasure of a serenade from your pets?

...every day is mewsic day. 🤭😸

Bugsy & Madmartigan look like "Pricken" who stayed with us at our house in Sweden. 🙂

There's GOT to be a good story behind the name "Pricken". 🤣 🤔

...maybe prickly with too many sharp toenails? 😳 🤭

I was just reminiscing about one remarkable antique shop I used to frequent.

Many reasonable second-hand items, but mostly filled floor-to-ceiling with expensive, sometimes priceless items.

Only a small percentage of the items were displayed in cabinets, I still had to walk thru sideways - a good turnover and it was always well stocked.

The owner had TWO big, fat cats that lived there until they were very old!

A permanent fixture, with their own beds - they were the center of attention for all visitors and employees.

I asked if they ever broke or destroyed anything - the owner replied, "once, maybe twice - no big deal". 🤔

So, as Bugsy is nestled in the crook of my right arm (so i can't type w/it🥴), I was just wondering...

Where's the Fiddlershop mascot?

"meh, meh... meh... meow"?

Or,

"wuah, wuah... woof"?

Do Pet Peeves count? I have a few. Not big ones, just some small little ones. Little ones are less trouble.

Hah, missed this! Here are our two cats, Holly in the foreground, and Ivy behind. Eleven years old and they have a brother and sister who live with my brother-in-law and his wife, Kris and Noel. All were born around Christmas time, thus their names!
