In case you haven't noticed, Fiddlershop ads are showing up on Facebook. I've been making sure that I "Like" those ads and hopefully it will help Fiddlerman's business. And, of course, buy from the shop when you can.

I just got a new shoulder rest from Fiddlershop and was extremely pleased to see the substitute for bubble wrap, cardboard! Totally recyclable and/or biodegradable!

I don't like to use Facebook, but you did make me think about YouTube.
After checking, I found I hadn't ever subscribed to Fiddlerman's or the Fiddlershop channels there (so ashamed). 😔
I am subscribed to both, now! 🤗
I haven't found anything negative about being a subscriber - you don't receive emails or any tracking/nuisance spam like I get from Facebook (even though I've marked all the privacy settings I can in FB).
Btw, YouTube channels have to have over a thousand subscribers and a large number of views before they can be monetized, but the important aspect of being a subscriber is to show support.
...I really hate Google, but I'm not giving up YouTube. It got me interested to start on the Violin, brought me here, to this forum and the Fiddlershop!

The ads are run by a company and are necessary just to compete with others. I would much rather avoid advertising all together. Hope we don't irritate any of you with our marketing.

Please don't misunderstand. I have NEVER gotten unwanted advertising from Fiddlershop!
I appreciate all the info I get from Fiddlershop. 🥰
My issue is probably personal with Facebook, in general. Even with a ton of security & tracking preventative measures on my end, as well as opting out of basically everything in Facebook - I only have to log on (only a few times per year) & I get a wave of phishing emails.
...suppose most people would just change their email address more often. 😒

Yes,
they are not great. This is done by an external company and very random. They are not very personal. We have plans on improving this a lot. We get so busy with the day to day and all the sales that we don't find time to personalize the ads. Sometimes I get irritated by the products, photos, and texts connected to those ads but we live in a very digital world today.
