Today is the start of Advent, the beginning of the Christmas season, so I’m starting a Christmas Party. Any & all Christmas related music is welcome. I really like playing Christmas music, so I may post a few different songs here.
Party runs from now through Epiphany (a.k.a. Three Kings Day, Little Christmas, et al., January 6th)—lots of time. So, please submit your videos for the Fiddlerman Group Christmas Project 2021 - White Christmas first! Deadline is coming—December 6th! https://fiddlerman.com/2021/10.....christmas/
I’m starting the party with

@SharonC -
What a perfect day to start a Christmas Party!
I wish I had some help to get a photo outside (Kevin's working), this morning -
it's all beautiful WHITE with snow, on all the tree & shrub branches!
You've outdone yourself.
Think this is your best yet!
Thanks for starting this Party!
...I'll be along, soon!

@JohnG Thanks!
Arrangement is by Catherine McMichael, from a collection called Hymns of the Nativity. Very talented composer/pianist in Michagan. She has arranged some really nice duet pieces for violin (her husband is a violinist).
These particular Volumes (Hymns of the Nativity, volumes 1 & 2) also have the 2nd violin part written out for Cello & Viola (i.e., to replace the 2nd violin). Also has an optional piano part.

UGGH, I play a song through a dozen times to perfection (well at least at my level), but as soon as I hit record I play like a deaf-blind drunk.. Will keep trying. Thanks for the party
@Ripton It gets easier the more times you do it. Trick is to forget the camera is there. Easier said than done, I know.
I use an Ipad—for a while, I put a small towel over the screen (i.e., so only the small camera “eye” peeked out) so that I did not see the screen as I tried to record. Now, I just don’t think about it.
It's a party--no stress
