@Mark -
PERFECT!
I have not heard a more beautiful 'Silent Night'!
Your 'Nearer My God to Thee" was outstanding, as well.
Your tone and vibrato were just absolutely lovely, and
I enjoyed every second of both of your performances!
So happy you joined the Christmas Party!
THANK YOU!
Merry Christmas!

Well it was from memory as I mess myself up with sight-reading after hitting the record button. I know I missed some of the bowing and I missed a few notes but I count it as success. I really need to work on my stage presence as I look like I'm at a funeral. Thanks to Violaman for the arrangement.

That was great, @Katie L ! I wish my bow arm looked as good as yours does when I first started! I had to do a lot of work to straighten mine out--
Are you using a Bon Musica shoulder rest (I think that's what I see in your video)? That is what I've been using for the last couple of years. I use a cut-up piece of red cosmetic sponge on mine. It's not unusual for people to need to make adjustments to them--we're all so different in how we find the best, comfortable way to play.
@Ripton That was wonderful! I don't have too many things memorized--it can be easier to play when you've got it in memory, though.
We got us a Party now!

@ABitRusty -
WHAT A GROOVY SURPRISE!
...where's your Posse?
Really enjoyed listening to that!
Now you've gone & gotten me feelin' all Jolly.
JUST WHAT I NEEDED!
Thank you!
Btw, next time you change the oil in the Ol' Truck,
save some out for that pesky E string. (lol)
...why doesn't my eggnog have any of that stuff in it?
