Theres a tune on one of The Gloaming albums called The Hare..seems like its in A. Theres a similar tune called The cat in the corner ( NOT the jig) which is a slide a think in G. This video is what happens when you noodle around trying to find the melody..lol. very loose version of the notes arranged to some rhythm thats not correct but felt relaxing.

thank you elcbk mark and stringy !
Emily i recorded fiddle then played guitar mandolin parts with fiddle track playing in headphones. sometimes i reverse the process. depends on mood i guess. presonus as usual on these type. used as the audio track in my video software.
@stringy i think the tune is actually called hare in the corn but someone listed it as cat in the corner which is same name of other one we both know. kinda confusing if looking for something. its another new one to me ..along with most. very few that i dont like..lol. thanks again no arranging just played what i remembered on fiddle and whatever cowboy chords seemed to work. but a bit more like a waltz or something than a slide and not by planning.

@stringy and @elcbk others.. i think this is closer to how Hare in the Corn should sound normally without the "artistic" liberties i took in last post..lol. in case..yah know

@ABitRusty -
Wow!
That was wonderful - you are back in top form!
Really great to have the reference, too!
I love both versions, but think now I'm in even more awe of your 1st version, because you put all that effort into your creative 'liberties'. ...and this is a Party!
Sooo happy you've been able to get back playing more - I really enjoy it!
Thank you!
...I have more to record - anyone else going to join the Party?

Here's another CRITTER tune for the Party!
Thought I'd share "The Black Cat Jig" - just a simple tune, experimenting with a little gain & overdrive for some fun!
How about joining in with a 'CRITTER' tune, or two... or three?
