Thanks mouse for having a listen. It is a jovial tune, no doubt about it. Going to start practicing the new bow style now, Burke says play three notes to each bow for a jig, either up or down, I wasn't doing that, I was playing separate bows, this way is better, takes a bit of practice though as I found out on this one. He also starts with an up bow, which feels odd for me.
Great tune that one Emily, came across it in o Neil's while I was looking for plant type tunes today, I usually find these tunes play them once and never do them again unless they grab me, I never have time to go through them all anymore, but I am going to put some time in on this one, there is another one in there called field of flowers but I am not doing that one, my next one is o carollans beauty in tears
By the way that cartoon you have going is brilliant:)
Cant beat a sunny day

Please find below a jig called the Blackberry Festival Footrace (https://thesession.org/tunes/13910)
My wife says it sounds a bit Russian!
Thanks for listening.

@Ford Glass -
I LOVE IT!
Really enjoyed listening to you play!
Thanks for pointing this tune out... I'd actually done a search for The Blackberry 'Blossom', the other night & that tune was listed - but I didn't try it.
Added "Blackberry Festival Footrace" to my list, NOW!
I've recently been enjoying some sugar-free Blackberry Jam on my diet, but I have a large patch of Black Raspberries growing in my backyard.
Appreciate you joined the Party!
