Life has been crazy around here, I'll try and get some more party songs sorted out soon and post them. Thanks to all who have joined in your all sounding good.
I asked my teacher to critique this and she just giggled and said she has such fond memories of this song when she played it in youth orchestra when she was either 7 (she has played since she was 3) or 7th grade I don't remember the exact age.
She looked and the music and said your playing it all wrong, did you not see the instruction of sul D written right there, I said yes I did, but I chose to ignore it, and her reply was I don't think so. This will be good practice for you, so Sul D it was. Then as I was working on it with her she got this evil grin and said I have just thought of a great exercise for you, so as I played it she took a piece of staff paper then sat cross legged on a tall stool and began to writing the exercise as I played, as I finished playing the piece she walked over and placed the exercise on the music stand, and as I began to play it I realized she had transposed the song from the key of D to Bb. As I stared playing it I grumbled at her because she had transposed it to Bb and she just starting laughing because she knows how much I like to play in flats.
