@ABitRusty -
FABULOUS!
Wonderful fiddling, guitar AND banjo pickin'!
I was even looking to see if you'd try to throw a triplet in there on the banjo.
Perfect mixing - sounded GREAT!
Guess I'll have to dust off the Buzzard for this Party!
...how did you get everything to come together and sound so smooth?

Sorry greg, I had forgotten about this one. I will get one together for saturday, but I will probably have to read it if thats ok because at the moment I dont have hardly any spare time at all, not been playing fiddle for about a week properly, odd ten minurtes here and there, and I am off to Vienna on monday as well, but I will try to get one done for saturday, I have one in mind, never played it before, so as I say will have to read it and see how it goes.

@ABitRusty Really nice tune & great trio playing! Are you playing the fiddle first, and then playing the guitar & banjo to that recording? Just curious. I sometimes play the 1st violin part, then play the 2nd violin while listening to the my 1st violin playing.
I’m running a bit behind—might be another week before I can get anything posted--

Thanks Mark, I had never heard it before either, just picked it from o neils because it was .⁰the first one I found with a birds name in it
Thanks for having a listen Sharon, I look forward to listening to your tune, they are always enjoyable, I only read through this one once and on the second time recorded it as I have a lot on at the moment and didnt have time to learn it by ear.

Quality, no real need to say anything else.
I can just imagine this being played by minstrels in a castle to entertain the king in the 15th century, really got that sound and feel to it.
If I was to try to do this I would need about 7000 attempts.
@stringy Thanks—believe me, I messed it up several times (maybe not 7000). And I’m not playing it as fast as those fiddler people do. I guess I like to meander in my tunes--maybe why you think minstrel sounding .
I got the melody off the Session, and made up the 2nd violin part.
