I think if I play Wohlfahrt's no 3 one more time today my head is going to explode.
This girl is playing two of the bowing patterns.
I'm now at the 1.5 year mark of having a FiddlerMan Concert Violin. It is still holding up very well, and is a great instrument to learn on.
This etude (no 3) is one I like... the first one, I did fine until trying to get the 8 million bowing patterns (ok.. so it was not really 8 million) right. I could play the notes fine, but then when trying to do one bowing pattern but seeing just the notes with my eyes, I would trip up somewhere on the page. After six weeks, I finally did them all 🙂 Now they seem to come a little easier. I was ready to just take the book and make enough copies that I could then pencil in every single bowing on each sheet... but that would have defeated the purpose of the exercise.
ok... now that I know my head is not going to explode... maybe I should do it one more time, only a little faster

I just started going through a Wohlfahrt etude book (is there more than one? I have no clue, lol) and I think it is exactly 8 million bowings, lol. I miss learning my normal fiddling slurs, lol. I like the challenge, though.
