Beautiful. I notice that you still make the same facial expressions today as you did then(Not a bad thing just an identifiable thing) And even though I now know that the announcer is speaking Swedish it sounds like someone took German and French put em in a blender and hit the pulse button for a few minutes

Aha, so that's what Swedish sounds like to the uninitiated! I've always wondered!

No offense meant to you or any other Sweed Almandin. While I may be able to mimic words spoken in another language, Identifying said language is an Entirely different story. I can fake a native accent with the best CIA agents in the world but I can't tell you what language I'm speaking when I do it

30-33 in the morning?!?!?!?!?!? Heck with the exception of the last few days (We've been at 50-60 for the high) we've been sitting at 30-33 as the HIGH temp for the day here in Northeast Ohio (Also Happens to be the snow belt region of Ohio)
I would love for it to be 33 in the morning because then it means it will be somewhere in or near the 40's for the high (less likely a chance for snow and therefore a happier Dennis)
Really Wish I could be there. I think we should have a new spot for it every year though that way people who can't go cross country will be able to attend whenever it comes over this way

Crap Terry!!! We'll miss you brother!
Hey, maybe we'll have to celebrate in toast to those who wanted to be here but couldn't make it,,,, you know, like fallen comrades.
I'm trying to figure out an efficient way to record our shenanigans for all to enjoy[?]. I may be able to get someone to record us using various cameras, so that the view is more entertaining than just being from a fixed [tripod] stationary focal point. Then Brooke is trying to find a decent way to record the audio onto the system she uses when she records. Don't know if it will be successful, but we'll try.
Someone earlier had mentioned Skyping the event. I am not yet setup to do that, but Pierre could probably get it setup while here; then maybe have the same person/cameraman I mentioned before, roving with the cam; if we do Skype, would we Skype it to the Fiddlerman.com site? Could it be recorded at the same time?

Ya know, guy's n doll's..... although I am unable to attend this event, (due to my uncle being such a tightwod), I have been keeping up on this thread. Who's going to be there and who's not and the list of song suggestion's. I have felt that it's not been my place to make any suggestion's, but I do have one suggestion as to the video taping of the event. More than likely there'll be several video camera's there and probably several by-stander's or member's who will be sitting out certain song's.
Although, Skype, is a good idea, I feel, IMO, that it wouldn't be the best way to cover the event due to the difference in time zone's and individual schedule's, plus if anyone other than a member wanted to watch it, they would have to be present when the the event was being webcast. (If you get what I'm saying).
Why couldn't all the video's taken be "sprended" to one volunteer to edit/put together on a DVD, copie's made and for a nominal fee be sold (less the cost of the material's used) with the profit's going to some charitable organization. Seeing that this is hopefully going to be a "annual" event.
In that way, people could watch it or show it to friend's at their leisure.
It's just an idea and probably not viable, but it's something to think about and I do understand that this is not going to be for individual profit. Call it, " The Fiddlerman Collection".
Just a thought.
