@Dave B. Funny story. I knew a young lady who joined a community orchestra and she had trouble counting out the long rests. She finally admitted to me that it was 3 years before she came back on cue after a long rest without depending on watching everybody else. Some things take time(ing)
So there is a chance that in a few years, it might come to me. I look forward to it. there is no one to watch here, so I am really in trouble!

Hope you don't mind me popping in here, Barry. Let's get your fingers in the correct position for the first few bars. Your g natural (3rd finger on d) sound great. The next note is being played too high. Your second finger should be lower (f natural) and your first finger should be lower as well (e flat). This also goes for the a string. Your b flat is coming across as a b natural. Be sure to have the first finger low (only a half step above the open string sound).
Then later on the second finger will be high again (f sharp), so don't get too comfortable with the f natural.
Sounds like a great start!

I like Barry's idea about getting corrected at the beginning before developing too many bad habits so i'm posting my violin 4 here. Sorry that it is blur (one way to not show my face I guessed) when I checked my camera i thought it was just my eyesight (sigh, the third thing you lose when you get older). I was going to post violin 3, too, but I think i might have pinched a nerve on my left wrist and my arms are sore i was working too hard and had too much fun on the wheel at a pottery barn this afternoon so i had to give up after I play violin 4 several times to get it recorded. Hopefully my arms and wrist will feel better soon.
Well, uploading has been slow here, so...my video is coming soon:P
(maybe i will redo it tomorrow and get it focus as well.)
