We'll jam Fiddlermanviolin-studentjimi-hendrix

I'll be going down to Florida. My brother and sister hardly use their place there. Off to practice a few songs on your beginner sheet music section.

Put in more votes for this Christmas project people. It's a great idea. Any other members want to vote and get this project done?

I vote for Carol of the Bells. It'd be pretty sweet with a lot of people! The rest of them seem like they'd be great as solos.

I'm not familiar with some of those, but I like 'War is Over'.

Did I miss something?  What happened to 'Little Drummer Boy'?

'Carol of the Bells' has a few votes ... can someone put in a bit for me to listen?  I'm not familiar with it.

dunno

If you think you can, or you think you can't, you're probably right.

Just visit youtube it's all on there Robyn.

I don't think Little Drummer Boy makes much sense without a drum in the track for Christmas.

Thanks, I got it, and got caught up with Celtic Woman, as I usually do when I visit YouTube.

It just hit me that "What Child Is This" and "Carol Of The Bells" could be played together. Not only as a medley but simultaneously. Would that be cool?

Start Carol of the Bells on a YouTube video or something and sing What Child Is This. It works !!!

I'ld have to make a special arrangement but I was going to do that anyway.

Could be fun

Wow that sounds like a great idea. I'm usually the type of person that would rather stay in the back ground. Low profile. But this is going to be fun I hope we have a lot of people participate.

My singing is much worse than my violin playing! I can hear the mix when I think about it though, how it could sound. Have  you ever heard these two songs played together? Pretty neat idea.

Ooooh, I love that idea. I had forgotten how much I like Carol of the Bells. My mind isn't on Christmas music yet smile

Dave

I've never heard them played together but I've heard so many combinations, arrangements and medleys in my life that I can imagine that it has been done and can hear it in my head.

I hear voices, I know they are not real, but they have some interesting ideas!  I can hear this arrangement, at least the first couple bars, in my head. I think it will go together well.

Here is a strange interpretation of Carol of the Bells. Enjoy!

I noticed the trend was for the slow songs ;) I suggest...aww man I forgot the name of the song...but it was in Latin, along the lines of Soli Deo Gloria...there were a lot of descending scales in that one and was pretty easy to play...could someone help me out here? What song is this? LOL
