Hi everyone,

I have my first lesson with a new teacher tonight; i'm excited and a little nervous. I haven't played for over a year and a half due to a shoulder injury so i'm very rusty. I had a short meeting with her last week so she knows i'll be easing back in and is totally fine with that.

She seems nice and enthusiastic, she even suggested that once i'm back to playing with more comfort that she might try to get her other adult students and me together to form a chamber orchestra; i'd be okay with that as long as it was for fun and not stressful.

I'm taking the books I was previously working from and she's bringing some books and we're going to pick a few pieces to work on, it'll be fun i'm sure.

Congrats on being able to play again, and find a new teacher. Enjoy!
