There are many things to discover on Fiddlerman but here is a really sneaky idea. If you have to force your left arm right in order to be under the violin, what does this mean? It means your violin is also far right (i.e. scroll pointing towards music direction.)
Now FM has a video about holding the violin and he has his violin so far LEFT that his left arm is just about in a natural, unstressed, vertical position under the violin. It looks effortless in the video and probably is. (I have adopted that posture.)
ALSO, by playing violin far left, he brings the violin into the range of a little shoulder support ("support", not pressure point).
