I saw this in another forum and thought it looked pretty interesting. Anyone tried it yet? It's a free service.

Seems very interesting but I wonder how it can actually work when latency has to be a problem. Even with some of my audio processors that run through a computer I notice disturbing latency. Now if everyone is listening to a drumbeat and playing with it, that should work fine though I couldn't imagine the result being good until the files get synced.
Look forward to hearing what you guys think after trying this. Nice find FC :)

Wow, good find.  I am familiar with some of the musicians on the recordings and their testimonials indicate that it works well.  I didn't dig into it enough to know what the business model for the web site is, but the concept is great. If it works as well as they say it does, then I'd say they have a hit.

I have not read into details about it, but I wonder if by signing up and using the service, you give them rights to what you play.

There's enough people around here who are forced into hearing what resonates out of the sound box on my violin - lol . I think i'll pass on this. it seems like a good idea, but again, the latency of lost or delayed packets, and packet compression, I don't think calling it live is correct. who knows, there's a lot of amazing technologies out there.
