Yea, I play the guitar on the "Tuna Universitaria" of my university. I know it sounds like the fish, but it has a completly different meaning. Is a spanish tradition that started on the medieval universities. So many of the instruments are from medieval Spain. We can mention:

Tambourine

Guitar

Bandurria

Lute (Spanish lute)

those are the main instruments, some Tunas use also mandolin, accordeon, castanets, cajón. etc

Chu ...........

I don't know what you might be playing now, but if I just wanted a second "fun" instrument it would be the ukulele.  I know that sounds not so interesting just for backing up hula dancers BUT, if you ever listened to the ukulele clips on YouTube you might change your mind Wink

Yes, they are the tuna of Universidad de la Laguna, Spain. I play on the tuna of Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, at Lima Perú. The Tuna Universitaria is not only a music group, is a Brotherhood. This tradition started on the first universities of Spain, on the 13th century, when the poor students had to play music to survive.

On the video you display, there can be seen the 4 main instruments, the tamborine, that is the percussion instrument, the guitar, the bandurria that is like a mandolin with a thik neck and the spanish lute that is like the bandurria with a longer neck.

I can't see anything on your last post. Did something happen or not happen when you tried to post? Or is this just one of those messed up doubles?

No, the trouble is at this end.

I have messed with every available icon on the toolbar in order to put up a YouTube link no luck.

Is there a HELP screen tucked away somewhere ?

I must be computer challenged.

Do you see a row of icons that look like this?

Image Enlarger

The eighth icon from the right that looks like a film is the one to choose:

This one in fact.

Paste the address from the address bar in YouTube in the field that says:File/URL

Then press insert and wait. It takes time sometimes.

If you click on the preview box you should see the video before pressing insert.

Good luck!!!!

I did everything you said.  Did not work.

I pasted URL and ran PREVIEW.  All OK.

After INSERT everything just sat there with a big yellow rectangle in the message space ?

I wonder if your program will talk to MacBook for all graphics ? ?

I waited maybe 3 or 4 minutes for link to load.

If you want to see Rafael's group in action, they are on YouTube.

Search for "San Ignacio, Lima, Tuna"

I did the search but didn't come up with the right stuff. If you know the url, can you please paste it :-) I can fix the link to show up as a movie.
