I guess in any large purchase you'll get a few bad eggs. These bows are handmade and not completely the same from one another but we probably get one return or exchange on every 200 bows. I use my own FM CF bows until the hair is all worn away. Usually for about a year. Instead of rehairing them I just get a new one. So far none have broken and I've tested the strength of the old bows before tossing them. They appear to be super strong. I know that I've had wooden bows break in the same spot.
Ken - I spoke to the maker about that bow. :)

Sure, Pierre,,, not blaming anyone for the break, there bad / defective I should say products in anything we buy. Cars, boats even the food we consume we get defective products.

I 'm happy you did speak with the maker, maybe it will throw a little light on something very small in the process.

Thanks.

btw,,, I didn't know you could speak Chinese...... just kidding.  rofl
