Anybody got music for Come On Eileen by Dexy's Midnight Runners from the 1980s ? I have searched online and found guitar chords , PVG (which only gives the voice melody) and even Harmonica TAB !!!
I read the first few bars are from an old folk song called Thomas Moore's "Believe Me, if All Those Endearing Young Charms", but that hasn't helped me yet.
I am a beginner and cant grasp playing 'by ear' yet. Any help would be gratefully received.
btw - it would make a great fiddlerman group project.

I poked around a bit and found a book with the music in it. Not free, but perhaps searching for a used copy might get you closer to your goal.

@ ftufc
So far I have the intro from :
http://violinsheetmusic.org/ti.....ng-charms/
(its a really old folk song so its not copyrighted music)
Its the first 4 and a half bars then Dexy's Midnight Runners kick in with their violin riff (the bit I'm trying to get).
