Hi all finely I have some time to reply now school is out
@KindaScratchy thank you she is starting in Sept. so her first concert with the orchestra will be in Dec. so hopefully I will be able to get a video of her playing.
@StoneDog thank you, I did not know about the travelling fiddle until you mentioned it I am so far behind lol but it would be a great idea for her to have a go if it ever comes to the UK she would love it.
@Feathers and thank you also you guys are great and always make her smile,
I have tried playing the violin but its too hard for me I don't have the patience. lol
Someone asked me what size of violin katie uses well it's a half size I can't remember who, sorry everyone for always taking so long to reply but so much stuff gets in the way and also I don't play violin so its hard to comment on stuff I don't know about Katie loves this site so I just post her videos on here for her and sometimes she does it herself, I wish I could have contributed more to the forum as you all do for Katie (hopefully one day we can).

tried to find one myself, not much in the way of backing tracks for irish music

Ah, come on, Solomon, remember? Same as you did before ... post it on youtube and put a link to it on this thread. It can be audio or video.
@Hman @Barry, the sound on this isn't perfect, but it may work for you. It's from Essential Elements 2000, book 2.

Ah man I can't see/hear what you posted. What's funny is I have the Essentials book 1 and 3 lmao. I skipped 2. I refuse to put quicktime or any other apple product on my computer so I don't know if I'll be able to view it.

Thanks Wookieman. I didn't realize this song was in Essential 2 (I'm just finishing up 1) so I guess I don't have any excuses - I'm going to need to learn this one. Thanks for the update. I'm liking the essentials, by the way - a lot more fun songs that I first imagined.

You guys are SO picky! Just kidding, I'm not a big Quack Time fan myself. I still have to warn you though that the stuff I have is LOW quality. But here you go, a link so you can download what I have, and the ability to stream from here. Additionally, I should mention that in the "accompaniment" file, there is a "Part 2" that plays along side the Melody, but it is NOT the melody.
