Detectorists theme
Was messing around this morning and did this version of the theme tune, may work on it or may not, was thinking of playing the entire thing in double stops, but dont know really. Think it could give it a blue grassy feel.

@stringy I absolutely loved that. I love the sound of your violin and this song was lovely on it. Thanks for posting this.

Thanks for the comment mouse, much appreciated, I was going to put this in my party for spring, because I somehow equate metal detecting with spring time, probably because the program is mostly set in spring and summer.

Its a lovely tune no doubt about it, I tried a few things on it though that didnt go quite right, on the first run through I tried to add an extra note a few times and it hasnt worked, I did this once before on over the hills and far away, and it did work, I should have done  it slightly quicker, and harder, I also play one of the double stop chords wrong, but overall I am quite pleased with it;)

Thanks Greg and Emily for taking a look, I am not the worlds greatest player but I am trying;). Another 20 years and I may be able to play in tune, its good fun though.q

Appreciate you taking the time to comment, everyone likes to be heard, and this is the best community for that, with the nicest people.

@stringy -

Hey, we are all Human here! 🤗 I was listening to a note the other day - actually thought I heard 3 different notes before I had it figured out... humbling. 😔

Yes, think this forum is a great place to have our playing heard/appreciated - especially for all us folk who don't have a teacher to get feedback. 😊

...don't think I would've ever made a single recording if not for this forum.
