Okay... here is my brand spanking new C scale.... I can not actually believe I am showing you all. 🙂 I was not confident enough to put hands and face on the video..it is very short and mostly audio.

Oh thank you... but I spent a lot more time on my Violin today than I did myself. 🙂
I am still practicing here and there. There is a lot to be said for:
1 being home along
2 leaving my violin out so I can just pick it up here and there...in between chores, dinner etc... 🙂 Wish I could do that at the office. ha ha

You got the right idea with scales. Lot of people don't like to play them. But trust me its the one thing that helps me improve. 
No matter where you go, there you are!
At the office take a ruler and make believe it's a violin neck, you can practice your fingering.

We are not judgmental about the way anyone looks here. Just like to give constructive criticism on the playing. Nice that you had the courage to take the first step and so soon after just starting to play. We could see your fingernails anyway.
Spend some time analyzing my bow and violin hold off this page.
I noticed that your violin is pointing down towards the ground and that makes it hard to keep the bow going straight. Gravity works against you. and forces the bow towards the scroll.
