I did a new video today... I didn't plan to do one before the 5 month mark, but I was making a video to send to my fiddle playing aunt in Michigan that I don't get to see often, so decided to use what I have of my latest homework tunes.
I'm not where i want to be with either tune, Jackie Tar got set back from all my recital practice, but Im getting better at it.

LOL - aye - I know exactly what you mean about the 'squeaks' LOL! It can be a "finger too soon" on a string, or "too late-drawn-off", or "something slurred that might have been better played separately", or a "string-cross-over" that didn't quite work-out, or - well like 100 other things known only to the advocates of the devil's own instrument... ! LOL - I just love it..... even when I get it wrong - which I usually do !
( I regard it as a continual battle with the forces of evil... hahahaha )
Seriously - you're doing fine, great progress - just keep doing what you do !

Ok, today is my 5 month Fiddle-versary, lol.
Because I'm a nerd and finally saw the new Star Wars movie today, I did a short snippet of the theme song, and then a fiddle song:

And if you are a Star Wars fan, you will love the new movie. My brother and I agree that watching this one was like watching the real Star Wars again. It felt like an authentic continuation of the original movies, to us.

Congrats on your five month.
Your videos are fun and you are doing great for five months!!! woo hooo.
I confess I only have seen the first and original Star Wars back in the 70's? or whenever and never have seen any others. So I have catching up to do. The sound track was a huge hit and they played it a lot on top 40 radio back in the day, I know we used it for dance shows and cheerleading and football games, so it is super familiar.. awesome song.
