I've just recently started practicing Canon... I did download the sheet music from Fiddlerman (Thank you) but also found this one at http://musescore.com that lets me play along with their music as well.. :) I decided to practice this one a bit before working on the one from Fiddlerman just to see how I did...  Please watch below! :)

Awesome Job. I recently downloaded @Fiddlerman 's sheet music as well. It has 4 parts. I'd love to be able to record myself playing all four parts. And MAYBE throw in a few violin parts as well to make multiple tracks. Anyone suggest a good program to allow me to do that? (rather than playing my last track(s) as I play and record.

Thank you :)   I also wanted to do the same with the four different violin parts. Fiddlerman did have a suggestion though back when I had mentioned the interest.. Rather than trying to play all four parts, pick two as they can be repeated. As for the programs, I'm still looking into that..

Hmm.. I should correct myself a bit... Pachelbel Canon.. Not "Canon".. I couldn't help but correct myself on that.

Stacyc,

Sounds good, I have never played that before, think I'll put it on my to-do list.

Thanks,

Mark

Stacy that sounded good.  I checked out the link and searched for the score.  Found the piano version.  I always liked this but haven't attempted.  Thanks for the link!

If you're looking for the original score and parts, you can look on IMSLP for anything that's old enough to be out of copyright. As long as it's not extremely obscure, there's a good chance it will be there.

Here's Pachelbel's Canon and Gigue. Individual parts can be found by clicking on the "Parts" tab.

Weirdest thing when I went to add you. You don't show up here:

We are on a sailing vacation so I'll have to figure that one out later. Sorry about that.

I can find your profile without any issue. It's just adding badges that didn't work on the search. I'll figure it out. Right now I'm sailing on our first vacation in a million years. :)

Garageband on apple products. Super easy and you can record different parts and put them together as well as edit the sounds.

Great job! My son is learning to play it right now. So, I steal his music every now and then and play it too. I love this song.
